LotFiles sample files are cleaned, documented derivatives. Upstream provider terms still apply. LotFiles grants permission to download and use these CSVs for personal, research, educational, and internal business analysis.

Attribution & non-endorsement

Where a dataset incorporates U.S. Census Bureau, FHFA, or similar government statistics, retain the attribution shown in that dataset's Sources section when you republish derived tables or charts. Include required non-endorsement notices (for example, that a product uses Census Bureau or FHFA data but is not endorsed or certified by those agencies). Do not imply endorsement by the Census Bureau, FHFA, HUD, FEMA, or LotFiles.

You must

• Keep attribution when republishing derived outputs.
• Honor upstream license and privacy rules (including no re-identification of aggregate statistics).

You may not

• Re-upload LotFiles packs to other marketplaces without disclosing they are LotFiles derivatives.
• Strip checksums or attribution from redistributed copies.
• Claim LotFiles data is proprietary exclusive raw government data—it is not.

Pro (coming soon)

Paid packs and subscriptions will include an explicit commercial license for internal applications. Live Stripe checkout is not enabled on this MVP.
